Play with friends
Make a room, send the link, and play the same game together. Each player stays on their own phone or computer. Rooms last as long as someone is in them and nothing about the match is saved.
Two ways to play
Score race
After a 3 second countdown, everyone starts the same game at the same moment. A small panel in the corner shows who is still playing and the score of anyone whose run has ended. When the last run ends, the best score wins and the host can start a rematch. Each player gets their own levels and random draws, so a race measures who plays better on average more than who got the better board. It works with 42 games, from Snake Freex to Jump Cat.
Turn by turn
One shared board, one player at a time. In Word Freex, each player adds a word that starts with the last letter of the previous one, with 20 seconds per turn at first and 8 at the end; running out of time costs one of two lives, and the last player left wins. In Duo Freex, 24 cards are dealt face down and players take turns turning two of them: a pair scores a point and you play again, a miss passes the turn. Every move is checked on each screen against the same rules, so a word that is not in the list or a card that is already taken is refused everywhere.
Pool Freex is the next candidate for turn by turn: its VS AI mode already alternates shots, and the plan is to send the other player's shot instead of the computer's. It is not there yet, so for now Pool Freex is a score race. Idle and saved-progress games such as Mossu, Supercar Dream or Desktop Folk have no multiplayer mode, since a match would last days.

Questions
- Do my friends need an account?
- No. Anyone with the link or the room code can join, under the name they picked on the site. An account is only needed to receive invites from your friends list and to have your scores counted on the leaderboards.
- Do multiplayer scores count on the leaderboards?
- Score race runs are ordinary runs: when you are signed in, each one is sent to the leaderboards the same way as a solo run, with the same checks. Turn-by-turn matches are not recorded anywhere.
- How many players fit in a room?
- Two to four. A fifth player who opens the link is told the room is full.
- What happens if someone loses the connection?
- Reloading the page brings you back into the room. If the host leaves, the player who has been in the room the longest takes over after a few seconds. A player who stays away for about 12 seconds is counted out of the current round.
