Most people skip privacy policies, so we appreciate you being here. This page explains what data GAMEFREEX ("we" / "us") collects when you visit gamefreex.com, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. We've tried to keep it readable.

What we collect

Stuff you give us directly

If you create an account, we store your email address and your chosen pseudo. We also keep your game scores, Freex Coins balance, and play history so the leaderboards work properly. If you never sign up, we don't have any of this.

Stuff collected automatically

When you visit the site, some technical info gets logged: browser type, device, IP address, which pages you look at. Pretty standard for any website. We use it to keep things running smoothly and understand which games are popular.

What we do with it

• Make your account work and track your Freex Coins
• Save and display scores on leaderboards
• Keep the site functional and fix issues
• Show you ads through Google AdSense (that's how we stay free)
• Understand which games people enjoy so we can build better ones

We don't sell your personal information. That's not our business model.

The ad stuff

We run ads on the site through Google AdSense. That's how we pay for servers and keep everything free. Google uses cookies to show you ads that might be relevant based on your browsing history.

If you'd rather not see personalized ads, our cookie banner lets you choose "Essential Only" which limits ad tracking. You can also adjust your preferences through Google's ad settings.

You can also remove all ads permanently with a one-time purchase. Check the "Remove Ads" button on the site.

Cookies

• Necessary: Keep you logged in, remember your theme and sound settings. The site needs these.
• Analytics: Vercel Analytics gives us aggregate traffic data. Nothing personally identifiable.
• Advertising: Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out through our cookie banner or your browser settings.

Third-party services

• Supabase:authentication, account data, game scores
• Google AdSense:ads on the site
• Stripe:payment processing for "Remove Ads" purchases
• Vercel Analytics:anonymous traffic stats

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can:

• See what data we have about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Have your data deleted
• Object to how we're using it
• Download a copy of your data

If you're in the EU/EEA, these rights are protected under GDPR. Email us and we'll sort it out:usually within a few days.

Kids and privacy

GAMEFREEX isn't designed for children under 13. We don't intentionally collect data from anyone that young. If you're a parent and think your child gave us personal info, reach out and we'll remove it.
