I wanted a place to play short games without installing an app or making an account first, so I started writing my own games and put them here.

The aim for each game is simple rules that get harder as you go. Some work better than others, and I keep adjusting the ones that turn out too easy or too punishing. If one feels off, the contact page is the place to say so.

The site is free and paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Ads never show while you are playing. Rewarded ads, the ones that give a bonus, are always optional. If you would rather not see ads, a one-time purchase removes them.

Every game page has a written guide under the game: the rules, the controls on a computer and on a phone, how the points are counted, what changes as the game gets harder, the mistakes that end most runs, and answers to common questions.

The numbers in those guides come from the game itself: the timers, point values, levels and limits are read from the code that runs the game. When a game is changed, its guide is updated, and the date at the top of each guide shows the last review.

If a guide says something the game does not do, write to contact@gamefreex.com and it gets fixed.

There are 53 games in 10 categories:

Snake Freex and Galaxy Freex are the arcade ones. Logic Freex and Duo Freex are puzzles. Molecule Freex is the odd one out: you build molecules from atoms, and you pick up some chemistry on the way. New games are added when they are finished.

Each game you finish gives you Freex Coins based on your score. Beat your own high score and that round pays 1.5x. The total is a rough record of how much you have played across the site.

New players start with 100 coins. Your total shows in the header, on your profile and at the end of each game. Freex Coins are a virtual currency with no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged for money or prizes.
